A.NEXT ART AI is open to anyone, regardless of age, nationality, occupation, or professional experience.
A.Yes. Children under the age of 14 may create an account. Under Korea’s Personal Information Protection Act, the consent of a legal representative is required to process the personal information of a child under the age of 14. Consent is verified using one of the methods provided during the registration process: mobile phone identity verification for Korean nationals and foreign nationals residing in Korea, or submission of a signed or stamped consent form for foreign nationals residing overseas and Korean nationals residing overseas.
A.The submission deadline is 11:59 PM (KST) on September 30, 2026.
A.Yes. Participants under the age of 19 may enter the competition. However, they are required to submit a CONSENT FORM FOR THE LEGAL REPRESENTATIVE OF A MINOR PARTICIPANT when submitting their entry. The consent form can be downloaded during the APPLY process.
A.Yes. You may enter individually or as a team. A team may consist of up to three members, including the team representative. For team entries, the team representative may create an account and submit the entry under their own name.
A.An individual or team may submit one work in each category: AI IMAGE ART and AI VIDEO ART. However, the same participant may not enter both individually and as a member of a team.
A.During the submission period (September 1–30, 2026), you may edit your submission information through MY PAGE. To withdraw your submission, please contact us at contact@next-art-ai.com before the submission deadline. Submissions cannot be edited or withdrawn after the deadline. ※ For video entries, the submitted video itself cannot be edited or replaced with a different video after the submission deadline.
A.We recommend uploading your video to YouTube, Vimeo, Dropbox, or OneDrive and submitting the corresponding URL. However, if access to these platforms is restricted or unavailable in your country or region, you may use an alternative video platform that is accessible in your location. The video must remain accessible through the submitted link throughout the judging period. If the video cannot be accessed due to incorrect access or privacy settings, the submission may be excluded from judging.
A.Yes. You may use external assets, game engines, AI frameworks, open-source resources, editing software, and other tools. However, the creative process must include the use of generative AI for purposes such as creative direction, transformation, or content generation. You must also have the appropriate licenses permitting commercial use of all elements incorporated into your work. The choice of AI tools, as well as how and to what extent they are used, may be considered when evaluating the creative use of AI technology.
A.Yes. If your work includes identifiable elements of a real person, including yourself, such as their face or voice, you must submit a Likeness Consent Form for that individual. If multiple identifiable individuals appear in the work, you must obtain consent from each individual and submit a Likeness Consent Form for each person.
A.For foreign winners, applicable taxes will be withheld from the prize in accordance with Korean tax law, depending on factors such as whether the winner is classified as a resident or non-resident for Korean tax purposes and whether an applicable tax treaty applies based on the winner’s country of tax residence. Details regarding applicable tax rates and required documentation will be provided individually to each winner. Prize amounts are denominated in Korean won (KRW). For payments to overseas bank accounts, the actual currency and amount received may vary depending on the exchange rates and fees applied by the relevant financial institutions at the time of transfer.
A.For team entries, the prize will be paid to the team representative. The allocation of the prize among team members is to be determined by the team, and the Foundation will not be involved in the distribution of the prize.
